Leah Weiss, PhD, is a scholar, writer and consultant specializing in the application of emotional intelligence (including mindfulness and compassion) in workplace environments. She teaches courses on leadership at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a Senior Teacher for Stanford’s Compassion Cultivation Program. She has consulted for organizations like Google, Harvard-affiliated hospitals and the Department of Veterans Affairs, and directs Compassion Education and Scholarship at HopeLab, an Omidyar Group research and development nonprofit focused on resilience. Her book, Heart at Work, is forthcoming from HarperCollins in 2018.
